問5 A

A  … by means of occasionally visiting a school in order to take particular exams or attending homeschooling conferences and workshops

B    Some parents decide to homeschool because they have a particular religion, or because they are not satisfied with the quality of mainstream education.

C    I am against homeschooling.  There are several disadvantages of teaching children at home.  One of them is that homeschooling can be intellectually demanding for parents.  In homeschooling, they have to teach children all subjects, which will require more time and effort than they might expect.  More than one teacher in a school is better than an amateur.  Moreover, schools are places where students do not only study but also develop their social skills.  Interacting with classmates in daily life helps children learn how to become members of the community.  To achieve this, occasional visits to a school is not sufficient.    (100 words)
